Lagoon love. Luxury Flying. And Living like a local.

There are few places in the world that offer some of the greatest things in life. Cape Town is one of them! It, therefore, comes as no big surprise that Cape Town has been voted by South Africans as one of the best cities in the world with its stunning nature, interesting history, awesome adventures, great food and wine and diverse hotels, villas and people.

Perivoli Lagoon House,
Standford, Hermanus, Western Cape

Set in a pristine wilderness reserve, overlooking the banks of the Klein River lagoon this ultra-luxurious villa is the perfect destination for a family looking for a charmed getaway.

Enjoy guided walks through the diverse floral kingdom and learn fascinating insights about the surrounding vegetation. The nearby lagoon provides the ideal spot for lovers of watersports. Explore the lagoon by kayak and paddle along the banks whilst enjoying the busy birdlife. Enjoy farm-to-table dining coupled with tailored wine experiences prepared by the local, private chef. The beach is wild, vast and untouched boasting sunsets that seemingly set the ocean on fire. Perivoli offers a little of everything for everyone in the family and is without a doubt a place you could call home.

All surplus profits are allocated to the Perivoli Schools Trust which runs a programme that shows nursery school teachers in poor communities in sub-Saharan Africa how to organise their classrooms and create educational toys and games out of recycled materials. The charity employs over 200 trainers and has trained 10,500 nursery school teachers in Namibia, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana and Uganda with 200,000 being the ultimate target.

More Quarters is a collection of converted heritage townhouses with their entrances opening onto a cobbled lane adjoining the main hotel. Around the corner on the trendy Kloof street, one will find a buzzing Capetonian style neighbourhood with its street cafés, restaurants, wine bars, boutiques and interior design shops. Perfect for young families or groups of friends who want to live like a local whilst still having access to all Hotel amenities such as their included breakfast and expert concierge service.

More Quarters welcomes children of all ages! Their Family Rooms (for groups of friends, too) each include a second en-suite bedroom. When laid out for children – with their own amenities, toys and treats – it’ll have them settled in no time!

Silvercross Helicopters owns the only H155 (12-seater) helicopter in South Africa. This helicopter is ideal for families or friends touring the skies together, while travelling from one destination to the other.

I recently visited the Mother City and was just blown away. Cape Town was completely showing off in all her glory and my stay was nothing short of spectacular. Flying along our coastline with none other than “Pilot James” in his shining blue helicopter was breathtaking. I would highly recommend glam-ing up and taking to the skies with Silvercross HelicoptersPervoli Lagoon House should be on every family’s getaway list with the forever changing mountain view and the stargazing being my personal highlights. More Quarters encompasses everything one would expect a true local to feel with its trendy style studios! Cape Grace was beyond gracious as always and satisfied my curiosity about local South African Whiskys! The One & Only was a delight and their new rooms are looking fresh and beautiful. I highly recommend trying their house brut, One&Only Brut, created, produced and bottled in partnership with Simonsig Wine Estate, the first wine estate in South Africa to produce a bottle of Cap Classique. #IloveCape Town
