Guests who cannot travel during the annual wildebeest or Great Migration should not be concerned.
Each year between late November and June, more than 200,000 zebras move from the Loita Plains to the Maasai Mara, traversing the Naboisho, Olare Motorogi and Mara North Conservancies, home to Mara Nyika Camp, Mara Expedition Camp, Mara Plains Camp and Mara Toto Tree Camp. This means that for almost 95% of the year, the Great Plains camps in the Maasai Mara are at the heart of one of these wildlife migration paths!
Guests who safari during the annual great migration with us at Mara Nyika Camp can also witness this wildlife spectacle when staying with us for three nights or more.
This is a unique natural safari experience. Something that most wildlife fanatics can only dream of. Make this dream a reality and enquire about your migration safari.
We look forward to sharing this magical moment with you.
