PLACES THAT STAY WITH YOU.
We bring together three partners in three distinctive settings, each offering a unique way to experience South Africa. From Johannesburg’s vibrant energy to the gentle pace of coastal vineyards and mountains in Noordhoek, and on to the excitement of the African bush, this Collective explores how each setting brings its own character to one memorable journey.
The Alexander Estate, set in Noordhoek, is an excellent choice for the coastal experience of this curated journey. Perfectly located for exploring the Cape Peninsula, it offers a peaceful and beautiful base from which to visit Cape Point, the V&A Waterfront, Constantia, Kalk Bay, Hout Bay and Simon’s Town.
With ten beautifully appointed suites set amid mountains and vineyards, with views of the ocean, the estate offers the intimacy and exclusivity of a safari lodge but with the charm of a boutique coastal escape. Selected suites feature private heated plunge pools, outdoor showers and fireplaces, inviting guests to truly immerse themselves and settle in a little longer.
Days at the Alexander Estate might include an oyster and wine pairing, a leisurely picnic on the lawns overlooking the ocean, a delicious high tea or sunset cocktails with sweeping views of Noordhoek’s white-sand beach. It’s a place to enjoy a gentler pace between the city’s energy and the adventures of the bush.
Did you know?
Noordhoek means “northern corner” in Dutch, a reference to its position at the northern end of the valley. The town also has no streetlights, preserving its rural feel and character and making it one of the best places in Cape Town for stargazing.
Londolozi brings something special to the safari setting of this South African journey. Guests can expect exciting wildlife encounters, the landscape of the Sabi Sands and the warmth of Londolozi staff who generously share their knowledge and passion for the bush. Beyond sightings of tree climbing leopards and other remarkable wildlife, a stay at Londolozi supports the wellbeing of the surrounding communities in the area. From rural education and healthcare to the protection of habitats where wildlife species can thrive. Each stay contributes to a wider network, giving guests a meaningful connection to their safari journey.

Londolozi is home to five uniquely styled camps, all sharing access to the same 34,000 acres of wilderness and wildlife viewing: Varty Camp, Founders Camp, Tree Camp, Pioneer Camp and the Private Granite Suites.
The Residence in Johannesburg is tucked away in the leafy streets of Houghton. After what is often a long journey to Johannesburg, it is the perfect place to settle in, with its well-appointed suites that offer all the comforts needed for a gentle introduction to South Africa. Guests can also venture out to discover the city’s history, art and markets, then return to the sanctuary of the hotel for a spa treatment or a quiet afternoon enjoying a cheese and wine tasting. There’s good reason to spend a little longer here, as a two night stay ensures guests receive complimentary return transfers to and from OR Tambo International Airport.

We encourage guests to enjoy dinner at The Residence. Upon request, the experience can begin with a traditional hand-washing ceremony—a thoughtful introduction to a meal celebrating South African cuisine.
