Tanya Powell, one of our Senior Safari Designers, was lucky enough to be invited on an fam trip to Tintswalo Safari Lodge. This is what she has to say about her experience:
“I recently spent a weekend at the stunning Tintswalo Safari Lodge in Manyeleti Nature Reserve, a hidden gem bordering the Sabi Sands, Kruger National Park, and Timbavati Game Reserve. Just an hours drive from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport, this reserve features the “Magnificent 7,” including cheetahs and wild dogs. Tintswalo Safari Lodge offers an unspoiled, exclusive safari experience, whether on its own or paired with another lodge.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a large herd of elephants at the water point, and a singing Tintswalo team which was a memorable start to our weekend. The lodge has six Luxury Suites, a Grant Suite, and a Presidential Villa, each uniquely decorated to honor famous explorers. The Manor House is perfect for families or friends seeking an exclusive experience.
The warm hospitality made us feel at home, with personal touches from the staff, guides, and lodge management. Our experience included early morning game drives, evening sundowners, and breathtaking sunsets. Activities ranged from game drives to relaxing beside our private plunge pools, spa treatments, and bush walks. A highlight was learning from our knowledgeable guide Mike, who helped us track and find elusive animals like the leopard. Thanks to the amazing Tintswalo team, I hope to return soon!” – Tanya Powell
