We are often asked by guests about to travel with us what they can expect to see. Of course, nothing is certain, but as a result, some years ago, we started assembling moments from the month of what our guides did see with their guests.
It is a valuable tool for us to use to describe each month’s experiences.
What is so very clear is that in general, no camp at Great Plains is dull during any month of the year over the past 3 years we have been doing our Wildlife Watch experiment.
There is always something going on, not just at Great Plains, but at each camp!
Male lions in water, leopards and painted dogs and as most of our camps are chosen to be in the elephant range, we share space with them everywhere all the time.
We will continue this ‘snapshot’ event each month, understanding that whilst some shared images and videos are not National Geographic quality, but rather as data, they give us all confidence that Africa, rain or sunny, hot or cold, gives us profound moments to think about, to cherish and to enrich us.
